Klopf, Paulina #2 (18 MAR 1834 - 6 JUN 1910)

 

Died - Paulina Klopf on Monday evening, June 6, 1910, aged 76 years, 2 months and 16 days.

 

Paulina Goldschmidt was born March 18, 1834, in Zaisersan, Oberant Maulbrun, Woerteunberg, Germany.  In 1849 she came to America with a party of friends and in 1863 she was united in marriage to Frederick Klopf at Brooklyn, N.Y.  In 1867 Mr. and Mrs. Klopf Moved to Johnsonville, Sheboygan Co., and from their to Neillsville (Clark Co., Wis.) in 1874, where Mrs. Klopf has ever since resided.  She was the mother of six children, Louisa Reineking, Henry, William, Frederick, Gustav and Alfred.  She was preceded in death by her husband and a son, Frederick.

 

Mrs. Klopf has been in poor health for some time, and has been staying at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Sam Reineking, on the north side, where she passed away Monday night.  Mrs. Klopf was a woman of charitable and faithful inclinations, and in the discharge of her wifely and motherly duties was keenly conscientious and energetic, laboring diligently for the welfare of her children.  She was a good and noble woman, and her death closes a peaceful and well-spent life.

 

The funeral will be held this (Thursday) afternoon at the Reineking residence on the north side at 2 o’clock.
