Schilling Station

Married at the residence of Ole Johnson, Sunday, June 17, Rev. W. T. Hendren officiating, Mr. Jerry T. Vine of Warner and Miss Julia Johnson of Greenwood. Below is a list of the presents. Ole Johnson and wife $5.00; T. Vine and wife, water set; Ernest Vine and wife, berry dish and six sauce dishes; Ed Vine and wife, celery dish; Miss Alice Vine, Jelly dish, fruit dish, milk pitcher and spoon holder; Price Vine, pickle dish; Miss Annie Johnson, bed spread; Miss Mollie Johnson, six napkins and a pair of linen towels; Elmer Johnson, pepper and salt shakers; Arthur Johnson, jelly dish; Oscar Johnson, gravy boat; T. Vine and wife, cow; Mr. and Mrs. Johnson, cow and table cloth; Ole Peterson and wife, set silver knives and forks; S. It is rumored that last Monday N. C. Foster sent a crew of men to clear out the right of way for an extension of the Fairchild and North-Eastern railroad as far as Bright's farm or perhaps beyond there.

Arlo Huckstead, cousin to Thomas Vine was a visitor at his home last week Thursday.

J. A. Sheets is putting a new stone foundation under his house, C. Varney is dong the mason work.

S. R. Kelly had a logging bee last week Wednesday, he got about three acres logged up.

M. Krogness is clearing up a nice piece of land near his house which adds quite a little to the appearance of the premises.

C. Richeleau has been turnpiking the road between Peter Christopherson's and Thos. Vine's place--just what was needed, keep right on Mr. Richeleau.

Sam Johnson has a new bicycle and no one around here wears a more pleasant smile than he does.

Wm. Rossow is making excelsior bolts, his brother Chas. helping him.

H. Humpke was taking the census last week Thursday in the east part of town of Warner.

P. F. Lantz and wife of Longwood, were the guests of Thomas Vine last Friday.

Mrs. Rannie Vine and her mother, Mrs. Johnson were the guest of Mrs. G. Philips on Monday last.
