Lee, Miranda (19 August 1875 - 25 April 1952)

Funeral services were conducted on Monday, April 28, at the Bergemann Funeral Home for Mrs. Selmer Lee, who died on Friday at 12:30 a.m. at the Neillsville Hospital.  Death was due to complications.  Interment was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery, with the Rev. Banks Blocher officiating.

Mrs. Lee, nee Miranda Thomson, was born on August 19, 1875, at Osseo.  She lived in Osseo until her marriage to Frank Stone in 1894, when they moved to Augusta.  Later they moved back to Osseo, where Mr. Stone died.  In 1925 she was married to Selmer Lee at Osseo.  They then moved to Neillsville, where she has since made her home.  She was a member of the First Congregational Church.

She is survived by her husband and the following children: Orville Stone of Marshfield, Thaddie Stone of Prince George, British Columbia, Canada, Curtiss Stone of Neillsville, Mrs. S. C. Wadleigh of Galesville, and Mrs. L. Loomis of Mondovi; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Hiram Riphenberg of Neillsville, Mrs. Robert Borgwardt of Osseo, Winn Thomson of Osseo, and Clarence Thomson of Osseo.

Pallbearers were: William Dahnert, Edwin Gall, John Gullikson, Henry Hart, Ernest Karnitz and John Moen.

Relatives from out of town attending the services included Mr. and Mrs. Orville Stone of Marshfield. Mr. and Mrs. S. C. Wadleigh of Galesville, Lloyd Loomis of Mondovi, Mr. and Mrs. Winn Thomson, Clarence Thomson, and Robert Borgwardt, all of Osseo.
