Svetlik, Frank J. (?– May 1952)
A Solemn Requiem High Mass was read Thursday morning for Frank J. Svetlik, Sr., at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. The Rev. Father John J. Pritzl was celebrant, Father John Agnew of Marshfield ws deacon and Father Robert Agnew of New Lisbon was sub-deacon. Father Peter Zic was master of ceremonies. Burial was made in the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Cemetery at Cadott. Gerry Svetlik, a grandson, was a Mass server.
On Wednesday evening a group of members of John Eisen Council No. 1799 Knights of Columbus of Marshfield said a Rosary for Mr. Svetlik at the Bergemann Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were: Max Feuerstein, Gerald Hart, Henry Langreck, Gerald Schmidt, Paul Skroch and Joe Wavrunek.
Relatives from out of town attending the rites included Mr. and Mrs. Victor Svetlik and family of Los Angeles, Cal., Mr. and Mrs. James Marx and family of Appleton, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Kehr of Ellingham, Ill., Mr. and Mrs. George Yakish of Winona, Minn., Mrs. Milton Lohr and family of Milwaukee, Sister mary Bartholemew, S. D. S. of Wausau, Sister Mary Dorothy, S. D. S. of Wausau, Wesley Svetlik of Jackson, Minn., and also several relatives from Cadott.
