Hansen, Adeline C. (Marriage - 27 Nov. 1952)
Now making their home in Milwaukee are Mr. and
Mrs. Dennis M. Zobrack, who were married on the morning of
Thanksgiving day in St. Mary’s Catholic church, Colby, by the
Rev. Frank Brickl.
The bride is the former Adeline C. Hansen,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George H. Hansen, Colby, and the
groom’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Zobrack, reside in
Abbotsford, Wis.
An all lace gown designed with a fitted bodice
that closed down the front, with self covered buttons and long,
tapering sleeves, and a stand-up collar was worn by the bride. Her
full skirt extended in a long train and her short veil which was
trimmed with lace, was secured to a coronet of orange blossoms. She
carried an arrangement of white chrysanthemums and mixed yellow
mums.
The maid of honor, Marcella M. Hansen, Milwaukee,
sister of the bride, wore a gold satin formal and a sweetheart
bonnet. Mixed chrysanthemums formed her bouquet.
Delores Hansen, Colby, and Karen Hansen,
Minneapolis, two other sisters of the bride, were attired in
American beauty and forest green satin gowns, respectively. Each
carried an arrangement of chrysanthemums.
Attending the groom were Donald Zobrack,
Abbotsford, a brother of the groom, as best man, and Marlyn
Sommers, as groomsman.
Guests were ushered to their places in church by
Albert Weix, Colby, Wis.
Ann Chaplinski, Gilman, in a light blue gown,
carried a basket of yellow mums, when she filled the role of flower
girl.
A dinner for relatives was served in St.
Mary’s gymnasium where a reception was also held.
Approximately 125 guests were in attendance.
The bride, a graduate of the Colby high school,
also took training at Marquette University, Milwaukee, as a dental
assistant. The groom graduated from the Abbotsford high school.
Guests at the wedding were from Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Thorp, Gilman, Spencer, and Boyd.
