Now residing in Abbotsford are Mr. and Mrs. Roy Clarence Boneske, who were married on Thanksgiving day in St. Mary’s Catholic church, at Colby, Wis. The Rev. Frank Brickl officiated at the 9:00 o’clock nuptial mass. 
 

The bride, the former Miss Pat Caroline Apfelbeck, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Apfelbeck, Colby, while her husband’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Boneske, of Athens.  
 

Lace panels detailed the entrained white satin gown selected by the bride. The bodice, which buttoned down the back, was topped by a net yoke. Rhinestones and pearls trimmed her finger tip veil that was secured to a pearl-encrusted crown. She carried an arrangement of red roses and white carnations. 
 

Matching jackets were worn with the identically styled strapless net over taffeta frocks worn by the bridal aides. Miss Helen Apfelbeck, Colby, in white, was maid of honor for her sister. Another sister, Miss Agnes Apfelbeck, in green and Miss Darlene Boneske, Athens, in yellow, were bridesmaids They all carried bouquets of daisies and mums.  
 

Serving as junior bridesmaid was another of the bride’s sisters, Dorothy Apfelbeck. Her gown was pink and she carried a bouqet like the bride’s.  
 

Andrew Apfelbeck, a brother of the bride, was best man. Groomsmen included Kenneth Boneske, and Lester Nowackie, brother and cousin, respectively of the groom.  
 

Later in the day, the newlyweds greeted guests at a reception at the home of the bride’s parents. The wedding breakfast for the bridal party and supper were also served there. 
 

The bride is a graduate of the Colby High School. Her husband, who attended grade school in Athens, is engaged in trucking.  
 

Out of town guests were from Athens, Abbotsford, Boyd, Stratford, Chicago, Wisconsin Rapids, Wausau, Edgar, Curtiss, Spencer, Lac du Flambeau, Chippewa Falls, and Pine City, Minnesota.
