Bangart, Thomas J. (September 3, 1955 - June 7,
2009)
Thomas J. Bangart, 53, Rozellville, died on
Sunday, June 7, 2009 in the emergency room of St. Joseph’s
Hospital with his family by his side.
Tom
was born on September 3, 1955 in Marshfield, the son of Anton and
Mercedes (Kloos) Bangart.
He
married Kathleen Shanks on July 16, 1976 at St. Paul’s
Lutheran Church in the Town of Day, Marathon County. They were
later divorced. He had owned and operated Tom Bangart
Trucking.
He
enjoyed hunting, fishing, Nascar, playing cards and spending time
with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He
is survived by four children, Anthony (Kristie) Bangart, Michael
(Deanne) Bangart, all of Stratford, Kristina (John) Post of
Spencer, and Paul (Laura) Bangart of Stratford.
He
is also survived by six grandchildren, Thomas James, Brett, Alaina,
Dominic, Derick, Dalton. He is further survived by nine brothers
and sisters, Monica (Norman) Wolf of Spencer, Marilyn (Roy)
Brumbaugh of Rapid City, South Dakota, Sister Antoinette, OSF
(Beatrice) Bangart of Kampala, Uganda, East Africa, JoAnn (Bob)
Aschebrock of Stratford, Darlene (Jan) Harmon of Strafford,
Missouri, Jane (Dennis) Pankratz of Auburndale, James (Jenny)
Bangart of Stratford, Donald (Patti) Bangart of Greenwood, and
Charles (Judy) Bangart of Stratford, a sister-in-law, Holly Bangart
of Cody, Wyoming and by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and
cousins.
He
was predeceased by his parents, a sister, Patricia and a brother,
Terrance.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on
Friday, June 12, 2009 at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield with Rev.
Chris Schwanz presiding. The visitation will be held on Thursday
from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Friday from 10:00 am until service
time at Rembs Funeral Home.
The
family wishes to express their gratitude to all the physicians and
staff at Marshfield Clinic and Dialysis Center for their care
during the past thirty years. Also a special thanks to all family
and friends for their unconditional love and support.
