Verna M. Burzinski, 90, of Thorp, died Saturday, June 27, 2009, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Eau Claire. 
 

No services will be held. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Withee, at a later date. 
 

Verna M. Hoffman was born Jan. 26, 1919, to Reinhold and Jessie (Fredrickson) Hoffman. She married Stanley L. Burzinski on July 15, 1939. He died Aug. 21, 1994. She was a resident of Oakbrook Health and Rehab for about four years. 
 

She is survived by children Joan (Harold) Doege of Huntley, Ill., Leroy (Bonnie) Burzinski of Beloit, Shari (William) Jacque of Thorp and David Burzinski of Tucson, Ariz.; eight grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
