Judith Andrew and the late Dick Young, announce the engagement of their daughter, April Young, to Rodney Smazal, son of Victor and Carolyn Smazal, Colby, Wis.  
 

April is a 1997 graduate of Colby High School and is currently employed by Abbyland, Curtiss.  
 

Rodney is a 1992 graduate of Colby High School and currently employed by Lynn Farms, Unity, Wis.  
 

An August 1, 2009 wedding is being planned.
