The Danish Lutheran Church of Withee was the scene of a wedding ceremony Saturday, June 21^st, 1952, when Joan Leibke of Menomonie, Wis., became the bride of George C. Sorenson of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.).  The couple repeated the nuptial vows after the Rev. W. Clayton Nielsen in a double ceremony performed at four o’clock.

The bride wore a beige lace dress with white accessories.  Pink rose buds and stephanotis composed her shoulder corsage.

Attending the couple were the bridegroom’s sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Einer Anderson of Mauston, Wis.

The couple will make their home at Withee where the bridegroom is the rural mail carrier on route 2.
