Humbird, Wisconsin

Humbird not celebrating the Fourth, other towns were well represented from this place. Our band boys played at Black River Falls during the day, and at Hatfield at night.

Bertha Waters spent the Fourth at Eau Claire.

Humbird is now preparing to build a parsonage for the Methodist preacher, in the near future.

Tilla Goerbeck is visiting at Eau Claire, and from there she is going to Minneapolis.

Mrs. Sires and children of Altoona, are visiting friends here.

Judde Campbell, Fred Simons and Julius Hahn were the Republican delegates who went to Loyal from this place to the county convention, Monday.

Mr. and Mrs. A. Hyuck of Fairchild, spent Sunday with her parents, at this place.

George Chambers and wife returned home Monday from their visit at Superior.

Dr. Reeves and wife took in the sights at Osseo, the Fourth.

Mrs. Oliver Houghton of Houghtonburg, visited with her friends here the first of the week.

Mrs. C. Comstock and daughter Marion, are spending a few days in Cleveland.

Fred Melchoir is on the sick list.

Mrs. Wilson and son Harry, of Fairchild, were on the streets Monday.

Several from this place attended the funeral of Guy Nettleton, at Pigeon Creek Wednesday.

Charlie Hart of this place won the first prize in the bicycle race at Fair View.

Ernest Schumacher is layed up with a broken collar bone, since the Fourth.

George Barkley and family of Warrens Mill, came Tuesday to spend the 4th under the parental roof.

I. P. Houghton was a Neillsville caller Saturday.

Mr. Shute and wife returned to their home at Altoona, Sunday.

Gladys Braman, who is at work at Merrillan, spent a few days at home last week.

Mabel Snyder, Anna and Charlie Hart, wheeled to Greenwood Saturday, to attend the institute at that place.
