Amanda Schug, Colby, and Brad Carey, Unity, announce their engagement.   
 

Amanda is the daughter of Mike and Renee Heindl, Colby and Todd and Karen Schug, Wausau. She is a 2006 graduate of Colby High School and a pending graduation of UW-Stevens Point in 2010.  She is pursuing a bachelor’s of fine arts in graphic design and is currently employed through a design internship with UW-Stevens Point Dining Services.  
 

Brad is the son of Frank (Naomi) Carey and Trudy Carey, both of Unity, Wis. He is a 2006 graduate of Colby High School and a pending 2010 graduation at UW-Stevens Point. He is pursing a bachelor’s of science in business administration & economics and is currently employed by Lynn Enterprises, Unity and Jay-Mar, Inc., Plover.   
 

A June 12, 2010 wedding is being planned.
