Brandt, Benjamin (16 MAR 1884 - 19 SEP 1952)

Benjamin Brandt, age 68 years, 6 months and 3 days, was buried at Riverside Cemetery, Tuesday, Sept. 23^rd.  Funeral services were conducted at two o’clock from Griebenow Funeral Home with Rev. W. Clayton Nielsen officiating.

He passed away Friday evening, Sept. 19^th, 1952, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, where he had been a medical patient for three weeks.

Born on March 16, 1884 in Germany.  The deceased came to this county as a young man first engaging in various occupational trades before settling down and farming in the Withee (Clark Co., Wis.) area where he has lived for more than 40 years.

He was unmarried and is survived by a brother, Richard of Marshfield, and one sister, Mrs. Emma Bruchert, Withee.

Pallbearers at the service were Joe and Fred Brandt, Richard Rabska, Norbert Bruchert, Wm. Veurink and Leon Bruchert.
