County News
Neillsville, Wisconsin
John Hein of Tony, was in the city this week visiting friends.
A. Blum returned from Chicago Friday, where he has been on business.
Dr. Seymore lectured in the M. E. church Sunday morning on his experience in China for the past six years. In the evening he lectured in the Presbyterian church. The lecture was very instructive.
Fred Reitz was in the city looking after his political interests the first of week. Fred still insists on running after that coveted position. This will likely be a hard year for independent candidates; it will be a year that men will stick to their ticket pretty close, and unless Mr. Reitz draws hard from the Democratic party he will get very little support.
Rev. Owens spoke in the Unitarian church Sunday morning and evening.
Mrs. F. O. Dole of Milwaukee, has been visiting at the home of Mr. S. F. Jaseph, the past few days.
W. S. Tufts went to Loyal Tuesday, on business.
Mr. Wolf is erecting a new barn near his residence on the North Side.
J. Trumbull of Merrillan, is visiting with Mr. Roberts this week.
Editor Crothers has gone right in to up-to-date farming--he has purchased a brand new set of harnesses, and one of the Wolf & Korman's new wagons, with that well matched team of his he has a well capped outfit.
