County News
Twenty-Six Road
Quite a crowd from Greenwood came down Sunday, attending services at the chapel.
Farmers are about through with their haying, and have commenced harvesting.
Miss Lida Bass, of Neillsville, who is visiting with Ethel Heaslett, was a Greenwood visitor Monday and Tuesday.
Raspberries are quite plentiful; so are pickers.
Mr. Dean's people of York, were visiting at the home of Mr. Ware last Friday.
Syth's threshing machine was in this neighborhood Tuesday and Wednesday, threshing barley and wheat for Tom and Dan Fahey.
Mrs. Joe Bibby has returned home. Her sister came with her.
Masons have been plastering Mr. Roger's house which they finished Monday.
Miss Bertha Fricke was visiting with friends on the Twenty-six road last Wednesday.
Mrs. Boyce and Mrs. Ware attended services in the M. E. Church at Greenwood last Sunday morning.
