Lukas, Roger (1949? - 3 Feb.
1953)
An Angel High Mass was offered at St.
Bernard’s Catholic church, Friday morning at 9:30 for Roger
Lukas, 4, son of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Lukas, who died Tuesday. The
Rev. Raymond Schulz officiated, with St. Bernard’s choir
singing the Mass of the Angels. At the offertory, Mrs. C. T. Dolan
sang Ave Maria and at the close of the mass she sang "Dear Angel
Ever at My Side." After the services, burial was made in the
Abbotsford cemetery.
The pallbearers were Robert Morrow, Larry
Phanuef, Tom Vetter, Abbotsford; and Peter Lukas, of
Thorp.
The flowers were carried by the Misses
Carol Moberg, Joyce Schraufnagel, Celine Geiger, Catherine Zink and
Mary Ann Carlson.
Among the relatives from away who attended the funeral were Miss Georgiana Lundahl, Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. Bob Lundahl, Fond du Lac; Mrs. Joseph Les and Mrs. C. J. Gresey, Chicago; Mrs. Louis Wojkiewicz and Peter Lukas, Jr., Thorp.
