Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Hoeft, and family, of Appleton, and Mr. and Mrs. Allen Pudleiner, of Madison, spent the week end with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Hoeft. 
 

Mrs. Arvid Carlson, Mrs. Felix Schiferl, and the following students at Pleasant Hill School, accompanied by their principal, Mrs. Winifred Hartzell, attended the crop judging contest at Neillsville, Monday: Donald Marcott, Bernard Huss, Janet Schiferl, Joyce Schraufnagel, Robert Hartzell, Lynn Nehrlich, Lyle Carlson, and Billy Rutan. 
 

Mrs. Bill Williams was at Tomahawk, Tuesday, of last week, to help her sister, Mrs. Minnie Sutherland, celebrate her birthday anniversary. Mrs. Sutherland returned here and stayed until Saturday.
