Rusk, Eleanor (Marriage - 6 June
1953)
Miss Eleanor Rusk became the bride of
John S. Waters, of Miami, Florida, on June 6, at 4:00 o’clock
in the afternoon at Buena Memorial Presbyterian church, Chicago,
Illinois.
The bride was given in marriage by her
uncle, Leslie Minshall, of Camp Lake. Her attendants were her
sister, Mrs. Edward Landa, and the flower girl, Miss Carol
Landa.
Edward Landa acted as best man.
The bride wore a ballerina, Chantilly
lace gown, and carried a colonial bouquet of mixed
flowers.
Immediately following the ceremony, a
reception was held in the church dining room. Those from away who
attended the wedding were: Mrs. Caroline H. Waters, Miami, Florida;
Miss Leone Eastland, Center City, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Leslie
Minshall and daughter, Mary Lu, Camp Lake, Wis.; Mrs. Charles
Miller and Mrs. Cliff Hedlund, Antioch, Ill.
After a short motor trip through Illinois
and Indiana, the bride and groom will reside at 2630 West Berwyn
Avenue, Chicago, Illinois.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Viola Rusk, Abbotsford.
