Wibben, Mr./Mrs. Nicholas (45^th Anniv. - 28 June 1953) 
 

Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Wibben celebrated their 45^th wedding anniversary Sunday evening. Sheephead and pinochle were played for entertainment.  
 

The feature of the evening was a mock wedding, given by the following people: 
 

Herbert Remus, preacher; Mrs. Robert Wibben, groom; Edward Bahr, bride; Mrs. Ruth Remus, Mrs. Alice Dunbar and Mrs. Irene Frane, attendants; Emil Remus, ring bearer; Carl Dunbar was the flower girl.  
 

Several piano selections were played by a grandson, Edward Bahr, of Wausau. 
 

Guests present included Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wibben and family, Colby; Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Frane and family, of Owen; Mr. and Mrs. Hilbert Remus and family, Stratford; Mr. and Mrs. Norman Dunbar and family, Marshfield; Mrs. Catherine Bahr and son, Edward, and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Bahr and family, Wausau; Mr. and Mrs. Alton Tischendorf and family, Owen; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Brown and grand daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Jacobi, Mr. and Mrs. Anton Kramer, of Abbotsford. 
 

The honored couple received many beautiful gifts. Lunch was served at the close of the evening.
