Mr. and Mrs. Ray Kiefer and two sons
spent the week end at Ft. Atkinson with the Aaron Kiefer family and
at Menomonee Falls, with the Gilbert Kiefers.
Mr. and Mrs. Leo Rice of Iron Mountain
came Tuesday to visit her mother, Mrs. James Vandehey and family.
They went on to Tomah to visit their son and plan to return here
before leaving for Iron Mountain.
Mr. and Mrs. George Bender and Mrs. Henry
Bender, Chili, returned on Thursday. They were away two weeks as
their son, Henry, underwent a double mastoid and brain surgery at
Wisconsin General hospital, Madison. Mr. Bender will go to Madison
Friday to get his son. While they were away they also visited
relatives at Janesville, Richland Center, Baraboo and vicinity.
Arlen and Dale Bender, sons of the Henry Benders, stayed at
Dorchester with their grand parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ben
Plockelman.
On Thursday, July 16, the birthday anniversary of Mrs. Frank Lukas was celebrated. Guests included Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Les, Mrs. Blanche Gresey and son, Jean, of Chicago; John Jusko of Whiting, Indiana; Mr. and Mrs. Chester Baranoski, Cleveland, Ohio, and Mr. and Mrs. Norman Lukas and family, Abbotsford.
