Daughter of James Noonan To Join Religious Order 
 

A family reunion was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Noonan, Sunday, Aug. 23, as Miss Winfred Noonan is leaving in a week, to become a nun of the Third Order of St. Rose Convent, La Crosse. She will spend a year of probation with the order before she is received in the novitiate. 
 

Miss Noonan is a graduate of the Taylor County Normal, from the two-year course and has had an additional year of training at Eau Claire State College, where she was specializing in kindergarten work. She also taught for three years in the public schools near Stratford. 
 

Attending the family get together were Mr. and Mrs. John Mikottis and daughter, Therese, Greenwood; Mr. and Mrs. James Noonan and children, Micky and Jeanne, Ayreshire, Iowa; and Mr. and Mrs. John Rauschl, and children, Kathy and John, of Wausau.
