Kaiser, Alice Kathryn ((14 FEB 1946)
Mrs. Henry Kaiser of Bloomer announces the marriage of her daughter, Alice Kathryn, to S/Sgt Ernest F. Schwan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Schwan of Loyal. The double ring ceremony was officiated by Chaplain Major Jordan on Feb. 14 at Camp McCoy.
Attendants were Doris A. Schartner of Sturgean Bay and Pvt. Gerald Christiansen.
When the couple returns from a wedding trip to Winnipeg, Canada, Mrs. Schwan will resume her duties as sixth grade teacher in the Tomah public schools for the remaining term. Sergeant Schwan will report to Fort Sheridan, Ill., for assignment to Alaska, where Mrs. Schwan will rejoin her husband in June.
