The Second Congregational Church, Eau Claire, provided the setting at 7 o’clock Saturday evening for the candlelight ceremony that united in marriage Miss Greta Lueth, Eau Claire, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fielder Lueth, route 1, Curtiss (Clark Co., Wis.), and James Nelson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Haven Nelson, Eau Claire.
Presented in marriage by her father, the bride was attired in a white satin gown. She carried a bouquet of American Beauty roses.
Attending the bride were Miss Lovella Venske, Nelson and Mrs. Steve Nelson, Eau Claire, as maid of honor and bridesmaid, respectively. They wore light blue taffeta formals and each carried a bouquet of pink carnations.
Bud Nelson was best man, and Steve Nelson, Eau Claire, groomsman.
A reception was held in the church parlors after the ceremony, and a wedding dance was held at Idlewild.
The bride is a graduate of Abbotsford High School. When the couple returns from a wedding trip to Chicago and Milwaukee, they will make their home at 215 Third St. in Eau Claire, where both are employed.
Guests at the wedding were from Abbotsford, Curtiss and Eau Claire.
