Sprunger, Grace O. (16 JAN 1953)
Miss Grace O. Sprunger of Fort Wayne, Ind., daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harry Springer, became the bride of Walter Eloranta of Fort Wayne, Ind., son of Mrs. Hilja Eloranta of Owen (Clark Co.), Wis. in a simple but impressive double ring ceremony at 7:00 o’clock Friday evening, Jan. 16, 1953. Rev. John Springer, assistant pastor of the First Mennonite Church, officiated at the rites before a background of tall tapers entwined with pink azaleas at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Kokli, Jr., sister and brother-in-law of the bride.
The bride wore a two-piece wool suit. The skirt was navy and the jacket navy and white. She wore navy accessories and an orchid. The groom wore a navy suit and white carnation boutonniere.
The bride is a graduate of the Berne High School, and was an employee in the office of the Dumbar Mfg. Co. before going to Fort Wayne where she was employed with Allied Mills and later at the Lincoln National Bank where she is at present.
The groom is a graduate of the high school in Owen, Wis. and is a McClintock Service representative for Diebold Inc., Canton, Ohio.
Mr. and Mrs. Eloranta will be at home in Fort Wayne after Jan. 20.
