Ola M. Zgarrick, 99, of Marshfield died
Friday, August 21, 2009, at Golden Living Continental Manor in
Abbotsford.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m.
Tuesday, August 25, 2009, at Rembs Funeral Home.
Visitations will be from 9:30 a.m.
Tuesday until time of the services.

Ola M. Zgarrick, 99, of Marshfield died
Friday, August 21, 2009, at Golden Living Continental Manor in
Abbotsford, where she had resided since 2002.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m.
Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2009, at Rembs Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerome
Gerum officiating. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery with
Myron, Gene, Bill, Tom, Peter and Jim Zygarlicke serving as the
pallbearers
Visitations will be Tuesday from 9:30
a.m. until time of the services at Rembs Funeral Home.
She was born Feb. 3, 1910, in Attica,
Mich., to Herbert and Florence (McMullen) Doty.
Ola was married to Michael P. Zgarrick
Aug. 24, 1929, in Toledo, Ohio.
In 1945, they moved from Lansing, Mich.,
to Marshfield and resided there since.
Together, they owned and operated the Hub
City Company until Mike's retirement in 1972. He died April 10,
1974. In June 1975, she was baptized in the Spirit and Born Again.
She made a pilgrimage to The Holy Land and Rome, Italy, in 1976.
The remainder of her life, she worked on her crafts and was a
personal and spiritual counselor to hundreds of
individuals.
Ola is survived by her son Michael L.
(Barbara) Zgarrick of Marshfield and three grandchildren, David
(Michelle) Zgarrick of Boston, Mass., Mark (Lesli) Zgarrick of
Evanston, Ill., and Patrick (Jenny) Zgarrick of Madison; one
great-grandson, Carlos Reyes Zgarrick.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, two sons, Douglas and Daniel, two brothers and two sisters.
