Eugene and Carolyn Zawadzki of Owen celebrated their golden wedding anniversary June 6, 2009. 
 

A reception, dinner and dance were held at the Hayloft in Withee. Music was provided by Art Petke. 
 

Eugene and the former Carolyn Pederstuen were united in marriage June 2, 1959, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Menomonie, with the Rev. Charles Blecka officiating. 
 

Original wedding attendants present for the celebration were Jerry Zawadzki of Oak Creek, best man; Theresa Isom of Marshfield, maid of honor; Larry Zawadzki of Schwartz Creek, Mich., Joe Zawadzki of New York, Beverly Pederstuen of New Richmond, Sonja Gunderson of Baldwin; and Rhonda Erickson of Menomonie, flower girl. 
 

Their family includes two daughters, Deborah (fiance Mike Karlen) Vollrath of Willard, and Gina (Steve) Cramer of Hewitt; four grandsons, two step-grandsons, and five step-great-grandchildren.
