GREENWOOD -- Evelyn I. Trampush, 89, of Greenwood, died Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2009, at Memorial Medical Center Health & Rehab in Neillsville. 
 

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Cuddie Funeral Home in Greenwood. Burial will take place in the Greenwood City Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be held on Friday at Cuddie Funeral Home from 9 a.m. until time of service. 
 

Evelyn Ingrid Krokson was born March 19, 1920, in Greenwood, the daughter of Martin and Mila (Hendrickson) Krokson. As a young woman, Evelyn moved to Chicago, where she worked as a nanny and housekeeper. She returned to Greenwood and was united in marriage to Frank B. Trampush on March 21, 1943, in La Crosse. They farmed in the Greenwood area until retiring in 1993. 
 

Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Joy Trampush of Greenwood; one grandson and two great-grandsons. 
 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frank, on Nov. 18, 2000.
