OWEN -- Terrance John "Terry" Date, 74, of Owen died Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2009, at the Clark County Health Care Center in Owen. 
 

There will be a memorial and reception at 1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 30, at 10761 Able St. NE, Blaine, Minn. 
 

A burial with military honors will be at 11:45 a.m. Monday, Aug. 31, at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis. 
 

He was born June 7, 1935, in Mankato, Minn., to John Lincoln Date and Cleo Francis Hennager. He married Sue Runke in 1959. He remarried later in life to Judy (Blackmer) Date. 
 

He is survived by 11 brothers and sisters: Sharon (Date) Meyer of Arizona, Sandra (Date) Manning of Texas, Rebecca (Date) Horton of Indiana, Susan Johnson of Minnesota, Randy Johnson of Texas, Dennis Johnson of Texas, Victoria (Johnson) Landgren of Minnesota, Roxanne Johnson of Texas, Joni (Hennager) Gilman of Minnesota, Matt Ziegler of Wisconsin and Mark Ziegler of Wisconsin; three children, Brian John Date of Washington, Lori Date of Texas and Gabriella Date of Texas; and 10 grandchildren.
