Albert Christiansen was born in Spokeville, Clark County, January 7, 1885. He attended a school near Spokeville. In his early years he assisted on his father’s farm. At the age of 16 he entered the well-drilling occupation. At the age of 22 he went to Anacortes, Washington, where he worked in a sawmill for two years, and in a salmon-canning factory for one and one-half years. Next he took a course of training in a barber college in Seattle, Washington. After following his trade a short time in that city, he was called to Loyal, due to the death of his father, William Christiansen. He continued at his trade in that village about six months, following which he resumed the well-drilling work, which he has since followed. Recently, he opened a store on South Central Avenue, which he is conducting in connection with well-drilling. In August 1925 he and his family returned to Seattle, and remained there until the following spring. During the last three years they have been living in this city. Prior to locating here, the family resided at Granton and Chili. His mother resides in Loyal.  
 

Mr. Christiansen married Miss Gertrude Egnor, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Egnor, Loyal, in Loyal, in 1905. Her father passed away nine years ago. Her mother makes her home in Seattle. Mr. and Mrs. Christiansen have one son, Harley 21. Politically, he is a Republican. His hobbies are fishing and traveling.
