Francis Marion Tuttle is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. T. B. Tuttle of Ironwood, Michigan. He was born in Colby,
Marathon County, Wisconsin, January 20, 1902. When he was five, his
parents moved to Medford, then three years later to Abbotsford,
where he graduated from high school in 1921. Soon after leaving
school he spent a year in the west in Colorado, Oregon, Wyoming and
Kansas. Afterward, he came to this city and accepted employment in
the Roddis Factory. Leaving this job a short time afterwards, he
became an apprentice in the Frank Dolezal Barber Shop, where he
remained for three years. Then he worked six months for John Fahey
in the Blodgett Hotel Barber Shop, and then changed to a job in the
Palace Barber Shop, where he is now employed.
Mr. Tuttle was married to Miss Alma
Lokken, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Lokken of Curtiss, by
Reverend Fred J. Jordan, of the Methodist church in this city,
February 17, 1923.
Fraternally, he is affiliated with the Marshfield Elks. Politically, he is a stalwart Republican. His hobbies are hunting and fishing.
