Lowell Henry Schultz, son of Mrs. Mary Schultz, 314 South Walnut Street, was born at Veefkind, town of Sherman, Clark County, Wisconsin, October 14, 1891, and made his home there all his life. After leaving school, he continued to assist on the home farm until 1912. Since then he has been running it on a lease from his mother. His father passed away in 1910. 
 

In connection with the home farm which is comprised of 67 acres, equipped with a full set of buildings, he operates a farm of his own on the opposite side of the road, comprising 60 acres with a 34 x 62 foot part-basement barn, built two years ago. His machinery includes a tractor. He also has an interest in a threshing outfit owned in company by a number of farmers in his section. His cattle number 25, two of which are purebred Brown Swiss, the rest grades, mostly Holsteins. His horses number four.  
 

Mr. Schultz has been serving his town as supervisor the past eight years. In addition, he is the clerk of his school district, No. 8, which office he is now holding for the second year. The school is known as "The Veefkind School." 
 

Mrs. Schultz formerly was Miss Ida Guetschow, town of Sherman. They were married by the Reverend Joseph Brown, of this city in the Veefkind Presbyterian Church, May 17, 1913, and have three children: Lawrence 15, Howard 13 and Alice 11. Howard became a student of the Purdy School this year.  
 

He is an elder of the Veefkind Presbyterian Church and a member of the Spencer Equity Local. Politically, he is a conservative Republican. His hobby is the radio.
