Ole Mathison was born in Norway, August
19, 1846, and came to this country as a young man. He was one of
the early settlers of Clark County, working in several logging
camps and for many years as manager of the well-known Bright Farms.
He had a lot of land at one time, selling it out to different
persons. He had land at Thorp and at Longwood. He now makes his
home at Longwood with Mrs. Louis Jackson.
He is a member of the Longwood Lutheran Church. Politically, he is a Republican. His hobby is reading.
