Frederick Jefferson Behrens, Rural Mail
Carrier on Route 3, Greenwood, was born in Greenwood, February 21,
1897. He received his education in the Greenwood public schools,
graduating from the high school with the class of 1917. He served
overseas during the World War, and on his return found employment
of various kinds until appointed rural mail carrier.
He was married July 8, 1922, to Miss Helen Chadwick of Greenwood. They have one son, Douglas. Politically, he is a Republican. His hobbies are fishing and hunting.
