Carl Stabnow was born in Greenwood, Wisconsin on
October 23, 1896, and received his education in the Greenwood
public schools. He served as rural mail carrier on Route 4,
Greenwood, for several years before entering the United States Army
during the World War, in which he saw overseas service. After
receiving his honorable discharge, he found employment as an
electrician with the Northern States Power Company, and was
stationed at Owen, Withee, Abbotsford and Curtiss, prior to 1927,
when he was transferred to his present position.
He was married July 1, 1927, to Miss Lila
Syth of Greenwood. They have one son, William Bernard.
Politically, he is a Republican. His hobbies are fishing and motoring.
