Adelbert Wells, who came to Greenwood nearly 30 years ago with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Willis Wells, was born August 23, 1896, at Whitehall, Wisconsin. He was educated in the Greenwood Public School, including high school, and has been employed in that city as mechanic at different times. He spent several months in service during the World War, and after receiving his honorable discharge, returned to Greenwood. At present he is engaged in farming on his father’s place, north of that city. 
 

He was married September 20, 1917, at Neillsville to Miss Elsie Dux, of that city. They have three children: Adella, Margaret and Donald.  
 

Politically, he is a Republican. His hobbies are fishing and reading.
