Arnold Beyer was born at Greenwood May 1, 1891, the son of Mr. and Mrs. August Beyer. He received an elementary education in the public schools in that city. He then took a course in cheese making which trade he has followed most of the time, with the exception of a short time spent in the Greenwood branch of the O. & N. Lumber Company. He was married June 11, 1915, to Miss Fern Sloniker of Greenwood. 
 

Politically, he is a Republican. His hobbies are motoring and reading.
