Schley, Myrtle L. (6 OCT 1881 - 13 JUL 1953)
Funeral services were held today at Waukegan, Ill., or Mrs. Myrtle Lee Schley, 72, who passed away on Monday, July 13, 1953, succumbing to a lingering illness and complications of old age.
She was born on Oct. 6, 1881, in Middle Town, Missouri. Nearly a half century ago she was united in marriage to the late Fred Schley in a ceremony performed at Libertyville, Ill. Two children were born to the couple one daughter Alma and a son Donald, route 1, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), with whom she had made her home for the past seven years. Her daughter, Alma Lewis is a resident of Homewood, Ill.
Her passing is mourned by a large host of friends and relatives her two children and four grandchildren, Mary Etta Lewis, Homewood, Ill., and Mary, Nancy and Billy Schley, Owen.
