Earl, Dorothy J. #3 (2 JUN 1904 - 7 JUL 1953)
Final rites were conducted for Dorothy J. Earl, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Earl, Abbotsford, on Saturday, July 11th, 1953 from the Congregational Church in Owen with Rev. A. Meinhardt officiating. Burial was made at Riverside Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were Shirley, Jim and Dale Elliott, Bert Cattanach, Duke Winters and Harley Peterson.
The deceased was born on June 2, 1904 in Owen (Clark Co., Wis.) and attended the Owen Public Schools. Later she attended college, qualifying as a teacher, which profession she followed until one year ago when illness forced her to resign her position at Oconto, Wis. She then moved to Racine where she had made her home. At the time of her death on Tuesday, July 7th, she was hospitalized at a hospital in Milwaukee.
She is survived by her father, two siblings, Mrs. Louis (Edna) Cattanach, Kimberly, and one brother, Charles of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
