Bladl, Patricia (12 SEP 1953)

Bouquets of fall flowers adorned the altar of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Owen, on Saturday morning for the marriage at 9 o’clock of Patricia Ann Bladl, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Bladl, and Donald L. Lammel of Denver, Colo., son of Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Harvey.  Rev. H. Crubel officiated at the service.

When the bride approached the altar on the arm of her father, who presented her in marriage, she was wearing a white satin gown with lace over satin bodice styled with a sheer yoke trimmed with white sequins.  It featured a full satin skirt and long lace sleeves which came to points over the wrists.  The veil of nylon net was edged with lace and was caught by a crown of satin and pearls.  She carried a crescent shaped bouquet of white roses and satin ribbon.

The maid of honor, Mary Ann Zahradka, cousin of the bride, wore a coral nylon net over satin gown with strapless bodice topped by a satin bolero.  The bridesmaids, Mrs. John Greschner Jr., wore an aqua gown made identical to the maid of honor.  They wore hats of nylon net and veil.  Their bouquets were of matching carnation and lace.

Paul Bladl Jr., brother of the bride, was best man, and John Greschner Jr. was groomsman.

The groom and his attendants all wore black tuxedos.

Patsy Cieslik, friend of the bride, was flower girl.  She wore a white ruffled net over taffeta gown with matching hat.  She carried a basket of carnations and mums.

Leonard Sluzewski and John Southworth were ushers.

Music for the wedding was provided by the church choir and Mrs. Herber Lehnen singing a solo, "Ave Maria."  The organist was Mrs. Elaine Leahy.

The bride is a graduate of Owen High School and River Falls College.  She taught school in Withee and for the past year has been in Denver, Colo.

The groom received his education in Denver, colo.  He was a member of the 187th Airborne Regt. Combat Team in Korea.

Out of town guests at the wedding came from Neillsville, Granton, Greenwood, Loyal, Withee, Marshfield, Plum City, Stockholm, Waupaca, Milwaukee, Wausau, Kansas City, Mo., Iron Mountain, Mich.

The bride’s mother wore a brown suit with beige accessories and a corsage of bronze and gold mums.

After honeymooning in northern Wisconsin, the young couple will make their home in Denver, Colo.
