Pennebaker, John (1903? - 3 SEP 1953)
Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 8, at two o’clock brief services were conducted at the Nazareth Lutheran Church’s Cemetery at Withee for John Paul Pennebaker, 50, who passed away on Thursday, Sept. 3, 1953 at Sherman Hospital in Elgin, Ill., after a brief illness.
Mr. Pennebaker was a brother-in-law to Mr. Anton Jensen, Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), and was known as a commercial photographer in the Chicago area. For the past several years he and his family had lived at Crystal Lake, Ill.
He is survived by his wife, Romilda, children Patsy, Margaret, John Paul Jr., and James of Chrystal Lake, and Donna Allen of New York City; one grandchild, Stacey Pennebaker, New York; a brother, James, Washington, D. C., two brothers, William and Charles of Hartsville, Pa., and three sisters, Margaret Dawson, Lucinda Converse and Ann Spansey.
