Prepeluh, Frances (19 AUG 1910 - 17 OCT 1953)
Mrs. John Prepeluh, nee Frances Gustafson, 43, passed away Saturday evening, Oct. 17 at St. Joseph’s Hospital at Marshfield, succumbing to the effects of a long lingering illness. Close friends realized the seriousness of her illness but her death left a sad and sympathetic feeling over the Green Grove community (Clark Co., Wis.) where she had lived all her life and endeared herself to so many friends and to her family.
Funeral services were held at two o’clock Tuesday afternoon from Griebenow’s Funeral Home with Rev. Arthur Meinhardt officiating. Burial was made at Riverside Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Joe Brandt, John Burtard, Earl Schigley, Frank Pabich, Phil and Henry Laube. In charge of the floral offerings were Mesdames Joe Brandt, Frank Pabich, earl Schigley, John Burtard, Henry and Phil Laube.
Frances Prepeluh was born on Aug. 19, 1910 in the Town of Green Grove where she received her grade school education and later attended and graduated from the Owen High School. On Sept. 24, 1942 she was united in marriage to John Prepeluh and made their home on a farm south of Owen. She is survived by her husband, two sons, Jerry 10 and Jimmy 5; and two brothers, Hilmer and Ebner Gustafson, both of Owen.
