Twenty-Six Road

Syth's threshing machine was in this neighborhood again last week and most of the farmers got their grain out of the way.

Joe Bibby went down below last week with Mrs. Bibby’s sister, who has been here on a visit.

Mrs. McConnell has been quite sick, but is better at the present writing.

While threshing for Harry Hewett last Saturday, Jimmie McConnell hurt his hand quite badly.

Dan Fahey and Harry Heaslett, with their best girls drove to Loyal Sunday.

Dan Fahey is contemplating a trip to the Pacific coast.

Joe Lehnard is having a siege of rheumatism.

Mr. Chandler of Neillsville, was visiting at Tom Bibby's one day last week.

Harry Hewett has sold his young cattle, and took them to Loyal Monday afternoon.

The patrons of the creamery received 17.2 cents per pound for their July butter.

Tom Fahey is giving his new barn a coat of paint. The school house is also being painted.

Mr. and Mrs. Clem Esselman are the happy parents of a little son.

Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hogue were visiting at Mrs. Fahey's last week.

Work has begun on the new bridge across the Black river.
