Fredrich, Mary M. (6 APR 1893 - 31 MAR 1954)
Funeral services were conducted for Mary Margaret Stasenke Fredrich at two o’clock Saturday afternoon, April 3, from St. John’s Lutheran Church at Withee with Rev. Walter Schedler officiating at the final rites. Burial was made at Riverside Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Julius and Adolph Cizek, Arthur Schwenke, Fred Malzon, Richard Rabska and Louis Klabon.
Death came to Mrs. Fredrich at her home in the Town of Hixon (Clark Co., Wis.) where she was being treated for a heart condition Wednesday night, March 31st, 1954. She was 60 years, 11 months and 25 days of age.
The deceased was born on April 6, 1893 in Chicago, Ill. where she was raised and received her early schooling. On Jan. 30, 1911, while still a resident of Chicago, she was united in marriage to Edward Fredrich. Seven years later, in 1918, the couple moved to their present day farm northwest of Withee in the Town of Hixon. Here she spent the rest of her life putting her constructive efforts into the development of their home and raising a family of six children, all of whom mourn the loss of their mother but cherish the treasured memories of her being a devoted wife and mother.
Surviving her are her husband, two daughters, Ruth Kirchner of Chicago and Florence Mittelstedt of Withee; four sons, Verner, Howard and George, Wheaton, Ill.; Norman of Neenah; three sisters, Emily Kilmer, Chicago, Adeline Morris, Chicago, and Jean Waite, Miami, Florida; one brother, Emil Stasenke, Miami, Florida, besides 13 grandchildren and a host of friends and other relatives.
