Schoenherr, Herbert H. Jr. (15 April 1942 - 8 November 1987)

 

Forty-five year old rural Neillsville resident Herbert H. Schoenherr, Jr., passed away following a brief illness Sunday afternoon, November 8, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield.

 

Visitation at Gesche Funeral Home will be Thursday morning, November 12, from 9 –11 a.m. and one hour prior 

To 1:30 p.m. services that same day at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Neillsville. Rev. Richard Weber will officiate.  Dawn Thoma and Sharon Nemitz will provide music.  Relatives and friends will serve as pallbearers.  Burial will be in Dells Dam Cemetery.

 

Mr. Schoenherr was born in Neillsville on April 5, 1942, to Herbert and Eleanor (Genteman) Schoenherr, Sr.  After his education at St. John’s Lutheran School, he graduated in 1959 from Neillsville High School.  For several years he was employed by Urban Motors and then worked in Rockford, IL.  He returned to Neillsville in 1975 and was self-employed as a bookkeeper.

 

Surviving besides his father is a son, Shawn Schoenherr of Las Vegas, NV; a step son David Elmer of Neillsville; one sister, Mrs. James (Beverly) Carney of Black River Falls; two brothers, Edward of Neillsville and Richard of Rockford, IL. 

 

He was predeceased by his mother.
