Pagenkopf, Donald A. (3 November 1940 - 23 February 1992)

 

Services for Donald A. Pagenkopf will be held on Friday, February 28, 1992 at 10:30 a.m. at the Gesche Funeral Home, Neillsville.  Father Joseph N. Henseler will officiate.  Music will be provided by Virginia Gassen.  Burial will be at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Neillsville, with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
 

Visitation will be held at the Gesche Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.

 

Donald Pagenkopf, who had been residing at Glendale Heights, IL, died on Sunday, February 23, 1992 at Edwards Hospital at Naperville, IL.  He was 51 years old.

 

Donald Pagenkopf ws born on November 3, 1940 at Neillsville to George and Lucille (Frie) Pagenkopf.  He was educated in Neillsville and then worked for Nelson Muffler for several years.  He moved to Janesville and worked for American Motors, and later returned to Neillsville where he again worked for Nelson Muffler and also farmed.  In 1970, he moved to Glendale Heights, IL and worked for Layne-Western Co.  He was in their employ at the time of his death.

 

Pagenkopf had been married to Karen Bryan in February 1964 at Neillsville. They were later divorced. She died in April 1985.
 

He is survived by his father, George Pagenkopf; two daughters, Mrs. David (Suzanne) Overeem, of Bolingbrook, IL and Mrs. Henry (Teresa) Washington, of Carol Stream, IL; three sisters: Mrs. William (June) Warren, Mrs. Orin (Brenda) Wallace, and Mrs. Monte (Virginia) Gress, all of Neillsville; three brothers: Raymond and John of Neillsville, and Thomas of Loyal; and two granddaughters.

 

He was preceded in death by his mother.
