Bessie Warner has been spending a few days this week with relatives here.
Mr. C. W. Dewey's brother and wife of Eau Claire, are visiting them.
Jos. Nesbitt has a crew camped here on the river finishing up the drive.
Mrs. Rowe left for her home in Michigan Monday morning. Mrs. Anderson and Laura accompanying her as far a Blair for a short visit. Laura goes from there to Watertown, S.D.
Theodore Cramer is home having resigned his position with the Conroy Co.
School begins in our district next Monday, with L. Jaseph of Neillsville, as teacher.
Millie Anderson went to Colby Sunday, where she goes to cook in a hotel.
Nellie Anderson returned from a year's sojourn in Oregon Friday morning, just in time to be present at her father's funeral.
Early Thursday morning, Aug, 23, 1900, Mr. K. Anderson died at his home here, after a lingering illness. He leaves a wife and twelve children, most of whom are grown, to mourn his loss. The funeral took place from the M. E. church at Greenwood, Rev. Kloster, assisted by Rev. W. T. Hendren, officiating.
