Neillsville, Wisconsin

Sheriff Tufts went to Mendota Monday to take Norman Gunderson to the insane asylum. Gunderson is from Sherwood.

Editor Noyes of the Greenwood Gleaner was wandering around town Tuesday.

Cement walks are being put down along the east side of Hewett street from Fifth street to Strawberry alley.

Mrs. H. C. Clark went to Madison Monday to visit the Lyman folks.

Mrs. A. S. Leason died at her home in this city last Saturday morning. She was a good woman and one whose friends were many. Her loss in the community will be deeply felt. The funeral occurred Thursday afternoon from the Unitarian church, Rev. Owen Officiating.

Albert Calway, snake editor of the Gleaner at Greenwood, came down Sunday on his wheel to visit relatives. He went or walked back Monday morning.

Company A came back from camp last Friday night. No killed, wounded of missing are reported.

Geo. J. Smith has been taken into partnership with his father in the north side store. The firm is now styled G. W. Smith & Son.
