Bombach, Mary #2 (23 SEP 1888 - 10 JUL 1954)
Mrs. Matt Bombach, nee Mary Pevic, was born in Yugoslavia on Sept. 23, 1888 and passed away at her home five miles northwest of Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), on Saturday afternoon, July 10, 1954, following a heart attack.
In 1905 she came to America and settled in Lorraine, Ohio, where in 1907 she was married to Matt Bombach. In 1912 they came to Willard (Clark Co.) and settled on a farm where they have since resided.
Funeral services were held at 10:00 o’clock yesterday morning, Wednesday, July 14, from the home and at 10:30 o’clock from Grace Methodist Church in Greenwood. Rev. Arthur G. Riley officiated with burial being made in the Greenwood Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were Frank Rajk, Wm. Abel, Louis Zorman, Mike Pakiz, John Kaltinger, Jr., and John Brezic.
Mrs. Bombach is survived by her husband, Matt; three daughters, Mrs. Wilmer (Angeline) Gould, Cleveland, Ohio; Mrs. Louis (Viola) Sodja, Miami, Florida and Mrs. Gordon (Vera) Roberts, Euclid, Ohio; five sons, Matt Jr., Owen; Rudy, Loyal; Edward, Milwaukee; Gene, Hammond, Ind., and Elmer at home; two grandchildren and a brother Frank still living in Yugoslavia.
