Funeral services for Joseph Moore, 69,
former Abbotsford resident, who died of a heart attack at his home
in Wisconsin Rapids, were held there at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the
Taylor Funeral Home. The Rev. W. Sautebin officiated, and burial
took place in the Abbotsford cemetery.
Pallbearers were Richard Brown, William
Reindfleisch, William Goetsch, Edgar Leonhardt, Mr. Driscoll, and
Clyde Strebe, all nephews of Mr. Moore.
Mr. Moore was born Nov. 19, 1884, in the
town of Hull, Marathon county. He was married to Hulda Hungerford
at Abbotsford on May 5, 1906, and lived here all his life until
eight years ago when they moved to Wisconsin Rapids.
Surviving are his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Donald (Vivian) Colby, La Crosse and Mrs. James (Colleen) Berlin, Wisconsin Rapids; two brothers, Roy, of Port Edwards; and Obed, of Marinette; four sisters, Mrs. Joseph Hart, Stevens Point; Mrs. Ward Brown, Menominee, Mich.; Mrs. Charles Brown, Abbotsford; and Mrs. Charles Hebert, Yakima, Wash.; and four grand children. One daughter, two sisters and one brother preceded him in death. The two sisters and brother all died within a three months period last summer.
