Denzin, Oscar (3 Aug. 1915 - 20 Mar. 1954)  
 

Funeral services for Oscar Denzin, 38, who died Saturday at St. Joseph’s hospital, Marshfield, were held Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock at the Presbyterian church. The Rev. Richard Harrison officiated at the rites during which two hymns, "The Lord Is My Shepherd," and "Shadows" were sung by Mrs. Miles Galiger, accompanied by her father, E. C. Pascoe.  
 

Burial was made in the Abbotsford cemetery.  
 

Oscar Denzin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Denzin, was born in the town of Holton, Aug. 3, 1915, and lived all his life in the town of Holton. He was married to Dorothy Armstrong, Sept. 20, 1935. To this union, two sons, Ronald and Douglas, were born. 
 

Mr. Denzin had been in poor health since last summer and had major surgery in September. He was admitted to the hospital about four days prior to his death. 
 

Besides his widow and two sons, he is survived by his parents and one brother, Alfred, at Prentice. Three sisters also survive.
